I Dream of Dubai: The City of Gold

The Gold Souk is the infamous gold market in Dubai, and would be a definite "must-see" while visiting the city . The word, souk, is any market or place where goods are bought and exchanged. If you want to buy cheap gold, you will most definitely find it in this market! The souk is located in the heart of the commercial district of Dubai, and consists of over three-hundred jewelry retailers. All gold is minimum 18K and one can bargain for an even better deal than displayed. The gold pieces range from rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and bracelets. Not only does the souk sell gold, but it also offers a variety of diamonds, platinum, and sometimes silver.

Why Dubai?

I dream of the utmost luxurious experience in Dubai. Where to start- literally. In the city, you will find almost anything from deserts to beaches, and historical culture to the most modern architectural pieces of our time.

So, why Dubai? I am a huge fan of traveling and I find that Dubai would be a place so different than any other in the world. Full of wealth, culture, and sites, the city seems like the perfect place to see. The world is a changing place, and I believe that Dubai is the front-runner, in terms of advancement and innovation.

Today, Dubai is one of the most emerging cities in the world, and is the most popular destination of the United Arab Emirates. I am writing about my dream vacation, which at this point would be close to impossible, due to costs. In Dubai, there is no limit, so I will be creating a trip only I can dream of.

The goal of my trip will be to learn about the cultural values, as well as gain knowledge on the overall lifestyle in Dubai. Not only does traditional culture still remain, but the city is also one of the most advanced in the world, and it would be such an exceptional vacation to take.
